He's built annual budgets, led due diligence on acquisitions, and managed the teams responsible for closing the books every month — work that gave him a close look at what separates a business that scales smoothly from one that's constantly playing catch-up with its own numbers.
He started JRTR to bring that same rigor to entrepreneurs and small business owners directly: clear books, a real tax strategy, and financial guidance from someone who has actually run the numbers for a living, not just talked about them.

Directed monthly revenue recognition and customer invoicing under ASC 606, built an automated revenue forecast-vs-actuals tracker in Power BI, and led a team of six accounts payable specialists processing 500+ purchase orders and vendor payments.
Implemented new budgeting software across 80 system users, led a savings tracker covering $50M in recurring annual run-rate savings, and managed the lease accounting transition for 3,500+ leases under the new ASC 842 standard.
Led financial statement consolidation and month-end close across intercompany transactions, forecasting, and multi-state sales tax compliance for 120 partners.
